Reflection or how’s it going so far…

Post #9: Useful keywords, phrases, subject headings, and/or tags:

List terms your sources use.  Keeping a record of these terms will guide your searching and the searching of others who follow.  Many of the databases list subjects at the end of the summary.  Explore them.  What phrases would normally be enclosed in quotations marks as you search? Remember your Boolean operators. Del.icio.us will help you by providing tags for the websites you bookmark and keeping your collection of websites organized.  Remember to put del.icio.us on your iGoogle page.

Help your readers, and yourself, by defining any unfamiliar terms.  This will help you better understand the sources you read and analyze.  Keep a dictionary handy, or use Google's define feature, or an online dictionary. If you haven’t come across any new vocabulary venture a guess to as why.
